Today I launch the 2025 edition of the « Seven Challenges For Retail Media ».
This is the fourth year of my annual ‘Seven Challenges’ report – and I’m launching it at the Retail Media X conference.

I call them ‘Challenges’ as that is the original name I came with back in 2021, but in reality they are a ‘state of the nation’ based on my analysis, ideas and learnings that stand out for me.

My insights come from working with brand advertisers, retail media networks, AdTech vendors, industry bodies like the IAB & ISBA, as well as trusted analysts, industry stakeholders and friends, in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Romania, Chile, Ireland, US, Canada, Turkey, Brazil.

The seven challenges are not predictions. Instead, they are ideas that are meant to be both thought provoking and help you stay ahead of the curve.

They are 64 pages of my latest ideas. They are not a primer on Retail Media, nor (yet another piece of content) about measurement!
