Beyond Luxury
Last week, something strange happened. For a few hours, Portugal, Spain, and parts of France were cut off. No signal, no connection, no transport, no energy. I wasn’t there when it unfolded, but people close to me were, and witnessing it from a distance made it feel even more surreal. It was a reminder of just how entangled we are with the systems we’ve built. How quickly everything stops when they do. And how hard it is now to separate ourselves from the technology that shapes our days.
It also made me reflect on the experience of my generation. We weren’t born connected, but we grew into the shift.
