Sonder’s portfolio will also become part of a new collection called Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy, aimed at offering apartment-style and boutique hotel accommodations in urban locations. Under this partnership, Marriott will earn a royalty fee based on a percentage of Sonder’s gross room revenues.
Marriott notes that Sonder properties are strategically positioned to appeal to key demographics, including younger travelers and those looking for extended stays.
