NEW WORK: Why is IKEA Sweden jumping on viral trends a decade too late?!? 🧐
Loyalty programs that reward customers with points aren’t exactly new. So when IKEA Sweden asked for a launch campaign for theirs, we decided to be upfront about the fact that they’re a bit late to the party and have some fun with it. Because, as the saying goes: better late than never, right?
We went all in on some old viral trends (way too late!!) like the Bottle Flip, Harlem Shake, and the Mannequin Challenge. Trends that were hot about a decade ago, but they were the perfect way to highlight the message: Better late than never!
