Their Cameo feature makes it easy to use other members of the app in your videos (see all the million videos on X featuring Sam Altman).
If your AI model is used in another video, you get tagged.
Now, you don’t need to film yourself anymore; you can license your AI self. That means monetization without participation, and potentially a whole new market for « synthetic influencers ».
OpenAI also just integrated with Stripe for payments. That’s an easy way to get paid for your « synthetic influencers ».
Sure, some people say it’s more AI slop. I think it’s the first step towards a whole economy powered by « synthetic influencers ».
It also makes it easier for brands to license their IP and incentivize people to bring it to life in creative ways.
